On July 27, Jito Kayumba, Advisor to the President of Zambia, visited the 100MW Mamba Solar PV Power Station constructed by Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. on behalf of Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema. He conducted an on-site inspection of the progress of project finishing works as well as preparations for grid connection and commissioning.

During the inspection, Mr. Jito Kayumba toured key installations including the photovoltaic array, step-up substation and main control room. He received detailed briefings on the project's technical parameters, power generation efficiency, grid dispatch protocols and long-term operation plans, and conducted on-site verification of construction quality, equipment operating status and standardized on-site management performance. He spoke highly of the premium construction quality, state-of-the-art photovoltaic technology application, and standardized, systematic management model of the project. He fully acknowledged the project team's professionalism and dedication in overcoming difficulties and pursuing excellence.He remarked that the project serves as a benchmark initiative demonstrating Chinese enterprises' support for Zambia's green development and deepening pragmatic energy cooperation between China and Zambia, and expressed great expectations for its upcoming grid-connected commissioning.

The 100MW Mamba Solar PV Power Station marks the second clean energy project delivered by Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. in Zambia, following the zero-external-power green low-carbon project at CNBM Zambia Industrial Park.
